Nine van Weert is a costume designer specialized in millinery. She graduated as a millinery and textile developer at SintLucas Boxtel in 2018. After interning for milliners Philil Treacy and Awon Golding she continued her studies as a costume designer at The Institute of Performative Arts in Maastricht of which she graduated in 2022. She has worked with prominent new makers in the field.
Her colourful fantasylike designs speak to the imagination and open up worlds of which we can only dream. She has a good eye for detail. Because of her background, she combines craftmanship, concept and design seamlessly.
